GUEST VACATION RENTAL AGREEMENT & INFORMATION SHEET

  • Please print this agreement out, complete and mail with security deposit to secure your date.  Mail payment to:  Obester, PO Box 456, Douglas City, CA 96025-0456.

  • Full payment must be received 14 days before arrival.  

  • Security deposit will be returned within 10 days of leaving if everything is left as it was found.

**TOT  Transient occupancy tax for Trinity County.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: $200 for one week or less.  All payment is due within 14 days of occupancy.    Failure to receive your monies  may result in cancellation of reservation.  It is important that you call and confirm.  Your security deposit shall be returned within 10 days of vacating the premises providing that real and personal property are in the same condition as when occupancy commenced and all terms and conditions are met. 

AGREEMENT: The owners David and Rebecca Obester, and Guest agree as follows:  above Guest is an adult over the age of 25 and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period.  Other occupants will be family members, friends or children under supervision.  Use of the premises will be denied to persons not falling within the foregoing categories, and as a result they would have to vacate the property immediately without any refund of deposit or payment. 

Tennant is liable for all replacement or repairs that are not deemed as normal wear and tear.  There will be a $ 100.00 charge if smoking has been done in the home.  Use ashtrays outside and empty upon leaving in the large garbage can in the garage.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT:  Check in time is 3:00PM.  Early check is possible, so contact owners for authorization for early check in.  Check out time is 1:00 pm.

RIVER AND BANK:  Tenant hereby acknowledges that the river and bank are steep and should follow trails to rivers edge.  The steepness could be dangerous to children and adults.  With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the river, and walking, climbing, or sitting on the bank.

PETS:  We are a pet friendly home.  Guest is required to keep pet on a leash at all times.  Pets must not be left alone in home at any time.  Guest is required to pick up after the pet with the provided scoop.

CANCELLATION,  RESERVATION POLICY & PAYMENT:   Reservations cancelled more than 72 hours in advance will have a full refund less $50 handling and rebooking fee.  Reservations cancelled after that time will be charged $200 unless we are able to re-rent the home.  Should you  wish to cancel this reservation, notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING VIA EMAIL AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 72 HOURS  PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK- IN DATE.  Payment must be received in full, 14 days prior to arrival.
